H.T. Switchgears
H.T. Switchgears being the main items of sub-station equipment are perfectly suitable for giving desired service on the distribution power systems having 11/13.8kV operating voltage. H.T. Switchgear is normally of two types:
- Load Break Switch (LBS) being manually operated having only Fuse protection.
- Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) being manually as well as electrically motor operated and acts as a sentinel against any electrical faults like over-current, Earthfault and short circuit protection.
Other types of H.T. Switchgear like SF6 and GIS may also be provided on request. Besides, the H.T. Switchgear panels have the following features:
